I hope this finds you safe and healthy. We at Keeping Good Company were deemed an “Essential Business” when Missouri / Boone County / Columbia issued our Stay at Home Orders. Many businesses closed, but we continued providing excellent care to our Seniors. We have kept everyone’s safety and wellbeing at the forefront of all we do. Homecare is safe care.
Early on, we educated our Caregivers and Staff about COVID-19, and how it is transmitted. We communicate frequently with our Staff, our Clients and their families to keep them updated. We promote proper handwashing. We use masks and gloves. We perform Wellness Checks regularly with both Caregivers and Clients. When needed, we modified the way we did some things to promote safety, while maintaining our high standards.
We keep up to date with current regulations at facilities where some of our clients reside. Our Caregivers are updated when facilities have changes that affect us and our services.
Our Caregivers are supplied with masks and gloves to use when they are with Clients. They are also being extra diligent in cleaning / disinfecting hands and surfaces. We observe Social Distancing as we are able.
Our Office Staff had mostly been working remotely during the Stay at Home orders. As of this week, we have partially returned to the office. We have daily Zoom meetings to connect and discuss business.
We are doing our best to maintain our professionalism during this difficult time. We take actions to help stop the transmission of the disease. We keep a positive attitude to help reassure others.
The focus has changed during Covid-19, but our standards have not. We continue to reach out and care for those in need, the most vulnerable in our society. We help maintain safety and wellbeing. We continue to provide excellent care to Seniors in their home.
At Keeping Good Company, “We treat you like family”… pandemic or not!
